INTRO TO JUMPING - 3-WEEK SERIES
Men & Women, 18+
|
Anyone can catch air! It’s LANDING that's trickier... Learning to jump is no joke. Things can go wrong quickly if you don’t have a proper understanding of how to take off, stay balanced in the air and land the bike safely.
We like to start by learning the fundamentals and theory of jumping using flat ground and static drills. Then the class slowly progresses on jumps with lots of feedback and some video analysis. Participants will be encouraged to progress within their comfort and skill level at the jumps at 7th Mountain. Then, for the 2nd and 3rd sessions we take the class to the Lair to catch some air! The 2nd class will focus on applying the jump theory and practicing fundamental skills. The 3rd session at the Lair is all about practice, progression, and refinement of the art of jumping. - Slow and basic progression. Participants will move through progressions depending on their readiness. - Pads and full face helmets recommended especially for 2nd and 3rd sessions. - Participants should already have a strong intermediate skill set and at least 2 seasons of MTB riding. When: Wednesdays: May 13, 20, 27. Time: 5pm-7pm Where: 7th Mountain Resort 18575 SW Century Dr, Bend, OR 97702 Cost: $235 (per 3-week series) Suitable for: Men/Women, 18+ *Minimum of 3, maximum of 7 participants. |
