Women’s Mountain Bike Clinic
IMPROVE YOUR MTB SKILLS, MEET NEW FRIENDS AND EXPLORE THE PUEBLO TRAILS!
Southern Colorado Trail Builders (SCTB) is hosting a 1 day (with an optional half day ride) women’s mountain bike clinic Saturday, April 26 at Lake Pueblo State Park for the Pueblo and Southern Colorado community. The clinic will be run by professional, female mountain bike instructors from Grit Clinics, and led by Lindsey Richter! If you enjoy biking and want to increase your confidence and skill level this event is for you. The day-long event will consist of skills and drills, lunch provided by SCTB and on-trail instruction. All events will take place at the South Shore trail network.
Groups will be limited to 7 participants and will be based on skill level. Skill level will be determined by a self-evaluation that will be sent out after registering, and can be updated day of.
Quail Run Pavilion, located behind the main Lake Pueblo visitor center, will be our home base for the event where we will convene before and after trail activities. Click here for a Google map of the location.

Optional half day ride Sunday, April 27 @ 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

WHO SHOULD COME?
The SCTB Women's MTB clinic is open to all women, queer, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals 18+ years old. This MTB clinic located in Pueblo, CO strives to close the gender gap and strengthen marginalized voices in our community.
As a small step towards this effort, we are excited to offer full and partial clinic scholarships that include registration fee and/or bike rental for the clinic to make it more accessible to all.
Skill Level: Participants should be comfortable riding a dirt trail. This clinic is not a good fit for those who have not biked off pavement before.
COST:
$265. The cost includes all instruction. Lunch will be provided by SCTB.
$85 for optional half day ride add-on.
Scholarships are available! Southern Colorado Trail Builders is committed to making mountain biking accessible for all and have made funds available to cover the cost of the clinic in part or full for members of our community who want to participate. Scholarships for bike rentals are available as well.
If you would like to apply for a scholarship please submit this form. The deadline to apply for a scholarship is March 26th. You will be notified by March 29th if you have been awarded a scholarship and how to sign up.
Need to rent a bike? CSU-Pueblo Outdoor Pursuits is offering hardtails for a full day, $30 rental. More details on bike rentals can be found here.
A Colorado Parks and Wildlife pass or Lake Pueblo State Park day pass ($10/vehicle) is required to park in the Park.
