WOMEN'S MOUNTAIN BIKE CLINIC
IMPROVE YOUR MTB SKILLS, MEET NEW FRIENDS
AND EXPLORE THE SNOQUALMIE VALLEY TRAILS!
August 2-3, 2024
Grit Clinics is thrilled to partner with The Line to bring an exclusive 1 day MTB clinic to the Snoqualmie Valley this summer!
This clinic welcomes all women and women-identifying riders from beginners to intermediate. This is a great chance to progress your skills and meet others in the community for future ride buddies!
August 2 is a Meet & Greet and bike-body position slide show by Lindsey Richter (no bike needed).
The on-bike clinic will take place August 3 at Snoqualmie Point Park. It will be run by professional, female mountain bike instructors from Grit Clinics, and led by the renowned Lindsey Richter of Ladies AllRide!
Who Should Come?
The clinic is open to all women, queer, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals 18+ years old. The Line strives to close the gender gap and strengthen marginalized voices in our community.
Skill Level:
Participants should be comfortable riding a dirt trail. This clinic is not a good fit for those who have not biked off pavement before.
If you enjoy biking and want to increase your confidence and skill level this event is for you.
What to Expect
The clinic will consist of skills and drills, lunch provided by The Line, and on-trail instruction.
Groups will each have a max of 7 participants, and will be based on skill level. Skill level will be determined by a self-evaluation that will be sent out after registering.
The Line Trailhead at Snoqualmie Point Park (map) will be our home base for the event where we will convene before and after trail activities.
SCHEDULE:
August 2
The cost includes all instruction. Lunch will be provided by The Line.

The best bike to bring
A good mountain bike can make all of the difference in learning new skills and feeling more confident on the trails. Make sure your bike is the proper size for you and is well maintained (schedule a tune-up a few days prior to the lessons). For most of our lessons, we suggest a dual suspension cross country or all-mountain bike for a more comfortable ride, but front suspension only bikes work fine also. A dropper post or quick release seat post is suggested so you can easily lower and raise your saddle when going down technical sections and learning new skills.
If you’re not sure if your bike is in great condition or you just want to ride on newer tech, we have a limited number of rental bikes at a 20% discount for the clinic. Simply contact The Line with your clinic confirmation # and let them know your height and inseam length.
