Join us in Bend, OR for a full day of MTB skills with Grit Clinics
& a trail work party with the Women of COTA
September 28-29, 2024
COTA and Grit Clinics are here for the same reason– Education and Empowerment. We invite you to join us for a weekend of tires and shovels on the trails. Further your mountain biking skillset with Grit Clinics on Saturday and then learn what it takes to build and maintain trails with the Women of COTA on Sunday (optional, but encouraged). With every entry, Grit Clinics will donate a one-year COTA membership to the participant or their friend of choice (if the participant already has a membership).
Saturday September 28: Full Day MTB Skills ClinicWe will split into groups according to skill level and work on honing skills in the morning and trail specific features in the afternoon. The Women of COTA will be on trail with us showcasing trail aspects and providing behind-the-scenes perspective of a trail builder. Grit coaches will be helping you conquer tricky sections of those trails.
Skills we will cover may include body positioning and balance, technical climbing and descending, cornering, switchbacks, wheel lifts, lunges, drops and more. |
Sunday September 29: Two-hour Trail Work Party (optional but encouraged)Get your hands a little dirty while you learn how to build and maintain the trails that you love. Join us for 2 hours on Sunday for an introductory trail work session with the Women of COTA crew leaders.
